The Thrive Program truly helped my transition in the 4th trimester! I’m so grateful for having this experience. I didn’t have to worry about the stress of find a pediatrician right away during all the new challenges of bringing a baby home and recovering from labor. EVERY question and concern I had about my baby and our routine was met with care and knowledge from Dr. Patel. She truly has been a Godsend. I welcomed Dr. Patel into my home one day after arriving from the hospital and 3 days after giving birth. She was gentle, empowering, and brilliant from day one— encouraging me and my husband to take care of my body first in order to SUSTAIN this new chapter with my baby. She arming me with evidence-based research and practical tips on latching my baby, tummy time, and infant development. I had three sessions with her, and I truly looked forward to them each time. She never made me feel rushed and was incredibly patient with ALL of my questions as a first-time mom. But most importantly, she made me feel that she was MY advocate and empowered me to honor my body as it healed slowly but surely.
